Lolamouse's inkblot challenge for Toads

Lolamouse is spending the whole day in the Imaginary Garden with Real Toads, testing the rest of the toads with Rorschach-style inkblots to see what hidden meanings they have for us.
I am very busy sleeping today, and so is my dog Lindy, so we sent this little black dog to visit Dr. Lolamouse for us. Let's see how he does.

hello, doctor lolamouse,
you have such a lovely house,
yes, thank you, I’ll sit on the couch
that chair’s low, I’d have to crouch

I’m here for the Rorschach Test
I hope I pass, I’ll do my best
to see hidden shapes and meanings
in the inkblots you’ve been screening

this one is a redheaded bat
any first-year pup knows that

next one is of jumping rabbits
so predictable, their habits

and the next one’s no surprise
a red-eared wolf with slits for eyes

then we have two kissing fish
close their eyes and make a wish

but the last one is confusing
probably because you’re using
all those colors, Doctor Mouse,
excuse me as I leave your house.

Perfect! Anything not obvious could be threatening.

The pooch as passed the test (Rabbits .. I don't see that at all. I see Elephants sitting with their backs to us (see the little tail and nose up in the air?)

All of the others I can see - and the last with colors - I didn't even try. What does that say about me?

Fun poem, you overachiever ! :)

Great fun - and now I can't see anything other than the images you've described.

The last one looked like a robot-man to me..But I must say I enjoyed your fun presentation of the Rorschach test.

Ah, yes, Kay (I mean, doggie). You seem to be psychological sound and grounded in reality (although you think you're a dog!) I can certainly understand your confusion about the last image-aren't dogs colorblind? Thanks for playing along. This was great fun to read!

Your love of animals is obvious in this one, Kay--every single one almost is an animal spirit for you. Characteristically, I saw a bunch of nightmares. ;_) Loved the rhyme, and the perspective both.

I LOVE all you say in the ink blots . I saw all the same critters.(does this mean you and I only have animals in our brains? I suppose it could be worse!)
