Lindy wanted a close-up posted this week because her friend Bozo in Mumbai, India, said "Come closer, I won't bite." Lindy thought that was funny. Her friend wouldn't bite her. So here is our Lindy's sweet face, posted for the meme that's hosted every week by Bozo and his family at their Pets Forever blog:

Pet Pride: Lindy and the missing bunny

Lindy has two squeaky toys, which she squeaks to indicate how happy she is, because she knows better than to bark in the house. However, she does like to take her toys outside, and sometimes they don't come back.
We haven't seen the bunny for a while, and the piggy disappeared last week during the packing-up for the kitchen renovation.
But here is Lindy in happier times, while her bunny was still in the picture, so to speak. We don't talk about her squeaky cow, which met a lawnmower a couple of years ago, because it makes Lindy and her mom sad.

Lindy says, "Hi, Bozo, this used to be my favourite squeaky toy until I lost it. Do you like squeaky toys? My mom doesn't like me to bark in the house, but I make lots of hungry noises, and why-is-Daddy-working-I-miss-him noises, and my squeaky toys make happy noises for me."

Pet Pride: keeping an eye on Lindy

This much slimmer (and probably younger) Golden Retriever is keeping a close eye on Lindy as she and her daddy come within range of its yard.

Lindy doesn't mind being watched. She doesn't even mind exchanging a woof through the fence, but she dislikes dogs who growl at her. And who wouldn't?

Lindy says, "Hi, Bozo. This other Golden Retriever seems to be a nice dog. My dad isn't sure if it's a boy or a girl, and I'm not telling him. My mom and dad went away for a while, and I stayed with friends. I love them, but I still haven't quite forgiven Mom and Dad for going to the San Diego Zoo without me."
