How much is that doggy reflection?

Lindy seems to be staring at her own reflection in the refrigerator, but she's not. Her close-up vision is pretty much nonexistent now, although she can still see objects farther away (yesterday, when walking with Dick while I checked on something, she headed for the wrong red car, and it wasn't even parked near ours).
So, instead of contemplating her lovely self, she is dreaming (as usual) about the contents of the refrigerator. You never can tell when someone is going to take out one of those lovely big cucumbers she so adores.

Darling picture, but what a shock. We had a German Shepherd when I was growing up that dug himself a bed in the cucumber patch and happily munched away. Funny to hear he has a kindred spirit!

Yes they can get that way. A lab I know has gotten so confused as she's gone blind. I apparently sound like my brother.

Cucumbers?? Oh my! Daisy likes applesauce, coffee, and a couple of other things. Actually, any thing I'm eating!
cheers, hope all is well with you and yours.
We're still having a bit of a struggle, but life goes on.
Luv,
Jen

Aww Lindy you are such a beautiful lady and my heart goes out to you. Luckily you have loving and caring "parents" who will always be there for you. Munch away in your dreams, dear girl. Love from Aunty Jo in Tanzania

Cucumbers? I would never have guessed. You hang in there Lindy, someone will open that fridge soon.

Look at her beautiful wavy coat! We have a cat that lays length-wise against the fridge and turns her head to tuck it under as Lindy has done with her nose. The cat does it, I think, because of the warm air that seeps out from beneath the fridge. Maybe Lindy likes to warm her snout. :)
