Top, left and right, at Schiphol Airport.
Crowds on the streets, left; cars and an elephant parked by the canals, right.

When Dick took his first walk around Amsterdam in mid-March, he wasn't looking for Mellow Yellows for my blog, but he did manage to find quite a few.
Some things, as most people know, are legal in The Netherlands but not in North America, so Dick had to take pictures to prove it, left, and
bottom left.
I'm glad he also has photos of the canals, right; and, bottom right, the old part of the main railway station.

Neat shots. It is always fun to see all those bicycles chained to the railings at the canals! Do you know the story of the elephant?
Lovely touches of mellow-yellow in and around Amsterdam!
Marvelous stroll around Amsterdam and great shots as always, Kay! The spots of color in what looks to have been a gray day are perfect! Hope your week is off to a great start!

Wonderful virtual tour. I love traveling vicariously with you guys --- your pictures make me feel as if I'm there with you .
Have you visited the Eureka/Arcadia California area? -- Last time we spent some time there, the signs for substances that are illegal elsewhere in the country were almost as blatant. Wish I'd taken some pictures.
Great captures!!

Good to see you living the "high" life there Kay. Those pics of the shops made me laugh
You found lots of yellow to brighten what looks like a rather gray day. It looks like an interesting city with lots of great buildings to photograph.
That's a big "smiley"! I saw Dora, and she is one of my favorites!
Lovely pictures and the signs are all in English.
