Not all Galapagos Islands allow humans so perhaps we are looking at the Santa Cruz Island where there is an airport?

Good deductive reasoning, Penelope, but I'm sorry to say it's none of the Galapagos islands. My nephew Scott and my niece Jodi have co-won Not Much in the name-this-place contest, by correctly and collectively figuring out it is the view from my parents' second home in San Felipe... the beach at Playa del Sol, facing south toward the hill that hides the town.

Hi Shirley, great to have a question about San Felipe. It's been many years since Mom and Dad (Pauline and Gordon Davies) had their place at Play del Sol, and they've both since died. But for many years they had one of the two houses now owned by the Peregoodoff family from British Columbia. First, my brother's friend Terry (Terence) bought John and Judy's place, then Terry's parents bought Mom & Dad's, the wood-frame house across the patio.
