Looking east at sunset, I see the sun reflected in a neighbor's window.

Across the street to the north, sunset's light warms bare tree branches.

And the sun sinks slowly into the west.

The lovely Lindy, our first rescued dog, was much adored by me, Kay Davies, my husband, Richard Schear, our grandchildren and many other Lindy fans.

Lindy was never happier than when rolling around on the ground, just about anywhere, but especially in her own back yard.
