SkyWatch Friday: Medicine Hat, Alberta

Above, a residential area on the north side of Medicine Hat, the city close to our small town. The South Saskatchewan River can't be seen here, but it is in the coulee (valley) between the houses and the low sculpted hills on the south side.
In the photo above right, the leafless trees are on the road to Police Point Park.

Above, looking up from downtown Medicine Hat to South East Hill where wealthy settlers built beautiful Victorian houses. In the photo on the right is the downtown Presbyterian Church.

These photos were taken on December 1, 2010, shortly before we left for our Hawaiian holiday.
