This itty-bitty poorly-focused photo is here just to prove that Spring seems to be on the way in southeastern Alberta.
"Seems to be" is the phrase to note, however. We've been fooled before. I remember snow in Spring once, and real Albertans remember snow once or twice in each and every month of the year.
So they say.
Therefore, when I saw Nanking Cherry blossoms in our yard last week, I simply had to go out with my cell-phone-camera to provide proof.
I learned one thing. My phone-camera gizmo does not like close-ups, especially when the wind is blowing.
And I learned something else, too, but I forget what it was.
Sigh.
When I grow up, I want to have my memory back.
Meanwhile, to all my friends who have stuck with the Unfittie in her unfittedness, thanks for being there.
Hugs, K

Always nice to see you posting, Kay. Glad you have some blossoms.
Yay for spring, Kay! Wishing you all a wonderful day tomorrow.

I tried taking some shots with my little tablet (the'YAMroid) and they are just pitiful... compared to those taken with the 'Fudge' (the fancy Fuji). Then again, there is something to be said for an 'of the moment' shooting, adding the urgency of need, the spur of an instant, a sense of presence... Wait, what was I trying to say here.........???

This spring has produced some odd happenings. I'm afraid it's going to be very dry if we don't get some rain. From Central Alberta.
It's true, isn't it? Although I think spring has set in here. We're at 0 this morning, expecting 21 later today! hugsxx
You take care! Look forward to the spring in your step too!!
I haven't figured my phone camera out yet. Sometimes the shots come out spectacular and sometimes a blurred mess. Just now sure what the difference is during the shooting process. - Margy
