Sun peeks out from behind two trees

I'm a slow learner when it comes to the camera in my smartphone, but the sun and clouds were so pretty a few days ago, I just had to pull out my phone and try to capture the sun peeking between the branches of these trees.
The first is at the Redcliff Library, where we had stopped for reading material, and the second is near our house. I was so intent on getting the clouds into the picture that I almost lost the glimpse of sun in that one.

...ah yes, but in doing that, the shadows below became beauteous too! (No sun here and not likely to be for at least the next three days...) YAM xx

Hi Kay, you've learnt quickly. The image is beautiful. I just cannot bond with my phone camera - still love my Canon. But it is handy for those quick photos or when you want to WA something to a friend. Have a great day. Jo

Moments like these, the smart phone comes in handy Kay and they do take good pics for what we do with Blogging, don't they?
Most of the photos I use for our Blog these days are on the iPhone and it has an App for a bit of enhancement. Nice Pic BTW - does you and your smart phone credit.

I have one of those old fashioned phones that I can use to telephone and send text messages. That's it! And I only have a tenth of my beautiful camera's possibilities in my head to use. So, you are doing a great job with your telephone/camera.

Mara — I'm sure my phone is capable of sending text messages, but I'm NOT. I mostly use it for the pedometer app, and have received a few phone calls on it, but only from Dick. I'm nowhere near ready to use it for web surfing, and have no intention of ever, ever sending text messages to anyone, anywhere. So you're miles ahead of me. :)

I'm so glad your phone and you decided to capture the sun through the trees and share the shots with us. I love to see nature through the eyes of others... She looks stunning through your lens.

I can't figure out my smartphone camera. I try to take a picture at a basketball game and it is all blurry. I took pictures today out of the moving airplane window and they were clear. Go figure. - Margy
