New fact: if the stone is wet, it provides a reflecting surface.
These aren't photos of beautiful tourist attractions in Venice, just photos of things reflected in wet stone. The last two photos are my favorites.
Posted for Weekend Reflections, hosted by James.
Thanks, James!

Great post.
Venice is definitely on my bucket list, it looks so beautiful and obviously lots of water appeals to me xxx

OOOHHH the last is a crackerjack! A lot of rising damp in Venice, methinks. And sinking bricks.
Which is how yours truly feels at the moment - just got another 12 assignments ladled out! But I've got big floats. At least that's what my dad called them. Drowning is not an option. &*> YAM
An interesting reflection on reflections, Kay. I really like your last photo.
a nice serie of wet reflections ;-)
Ah that last alley is so narrow: what a beautiful image. I always wonder how safe (if at all) I'd feel living there! I hope you're having a great weekend, Kay. Big hugs, Jo
Great post for the reflection team!
They use every bit of space for building in those old sections of town, but it makes it so quaint. I wonder if living there is more difficult though. We are so used to getting right up to our doors with things like groceries and not walking. - Margy
Wonderful shots! I wish I was in Venice right now.
