  2. Something as simple as snow is made more interesting with things peeking through and tracks - we were laughing today, because we are seeing squirl tracks ALL over the neighborhood - funny!

  4. I'll take the sunny parts of your snowy scene, and you may have the shadows. Fair enough?

    SILLY SHADOW DITTY

Shadows may or may not be
    Patterns of urbanity.
    If a shadow threatens you,
Here, my dear, is what to do:
Grab the shadow by the throat,
Toss it to a billy goat,
So the goat can chomp and chew,
    Keeping it away from you!

  5. The play of light in your coulee is wonderful. The shapely shadows give shape also to the light!

  6. I really love this shot! Shadows from the clouds made the hallow look like bodies of water!

    Nice post Kay.

  7. The hillsides leave massive shadows below. The grasses however leave fine shadows, the flora standing tall and taunting the cold prairie winds. The detailed shadows are stunning!

  8. I have no idea what a coulee is, but the animals seems to find it attractive. I like all those little paw prints and the grass just poking through.
