Our World Tuesday: not yet, however
No, no tulips for at least two months around here, but it's nice to see these ones I photographed last year, to know we still have hope despite the big snowfall we had in Alberta this past weekend. This photo was taken in early May, 2011.
None here either. I'm not even sure Mom's bulbs survived last year's freeze. They never bloomed, but I left them in the ground just to see. I go pick Wayne up at YVR today. Good to have him back again. He sure loves that cabin. - Margy
Beautiful sunshine yellow tulips ... a joy to the soul.
ReplyDeleteHoping you are having a lovely week Kay.
And here I thought you had a Chinook come through!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
ReplyDeleteSuch lovely, sunny tulips, Kay! And a joy they will be when they arrive! Ah, and it's getting here, one day at a time!! Hooray! Enjoy your week!

Such a beautiful color!
ReplyDeleteI missed our tulips here in the Botanical gardens, well I will just cheat and buy from the store, LOL!
ReplyDeleteThe yellows cheer me up this gloomy and cold and wet day here.
It sure is nice to see what will be coming. Those are gorgeous tulips, Kay.
ReplyDeleteLovely tulips, well spring is not far behind!
ReplyDeleteSoon, soon there will be an "explosion" of spring:)
ReplyDeleteWonderful color! Soon they will come!

ReplyDeleteTulips are one of my favorite flowers... and these yellow ones are gorgeous. Hope you're feeling a bit better, despite that winter weather...
ReplyDeleteWhen they bloom this year I shall be extremely jealous! (We don't really have typical spring flowers here.)
ReplyDeleteThese would do my heart good anytime of year...but especially now!
