Our guide, Arnold, calls the group together to climb the Great Wall of China.
Dick joined the climb, but I didn't go.
Dick gauges the water level as marked on the inside of the massive dam.

So picturesque to see colorful umbrellas being carried up the Great Wall. It certainly has our 1001 Steps beat for a walking challenge!!
ReplyDeleteI would love to visit and see the Great Wall. I have bad knees, so climbing the stairs may take some time. What a wonderful trip you must have had!
ReplyDeleteYou have definitely had some great trips and are generous to share your photos through your blog. Carver, ABC Wednesday Team
ReplyDeleteIt would be neat to walk the Great Wall, or, rather, part of it, and, for some reason, I think the locks on the river would be more exciting at night!
ReplyDeleteNice shots, Kay!
I'm not so sure I could make that climb up the wall. Was the view worth it, according to your hubby?

This wall is an enormous piece of work. This is a lot more impressive than the Hadrian wall. China is a country I should like to see.
