More mountains...I love mountains
These are the Blue Canadian Rockies of old-song fame, featuring less-than-perfect photos taken in drive-by shootings through windows and windshield, with my husband driving at highway speeds. (Clickable song title.)
A beautiful drive through the Rockies. I remember flying north out of Vancouver years ago, and looking down at the mountains, which looked like the Himalayas from above...I couldnt get over how other people were reading the newspaper with all that glory right out the window.
Love your "drive by shootings" phrase! Unfortunately, there are too many of those of the real kind happening around Vancouver lately! Thank goodness I live in a relatively safe area. Now about your mountain shots! They're stunning and I sure wish we had had digital cameras back in the days when we drove that highway! We do live in a "Beautiful British Columbia."
Drive-by shootings are the best, a wonderful art! It ain't easy!!!! Lovely shots! xx
ReplyDeleteNothing like a good drive through the Blue Canadian Rockies at this time of year.
ReplyDeleteNo mountains near me. I am always awe-struck when I see them.
ReplyDeleteWow, Kay. what majestic mountains those Blue Rockies are. Thanks for sharing. Hugs to dear Lindy. xx

ReplyDeleteEven when I lived on the flat lands of Southern California, I could see the mountains to the east. That was a good feeling. - Margy
