Thanks, Anni!

Well, I'm not braggin', babe, so don't put me down
But I've got the fastest set of wheels in town

When something comes up to me, he don't even try
'Cause if it had a set of wings, man, I know she can fly

She's my little Deuce Coupe
You don't know what I've got
Little Deuce Coupe
You don't know what I've got

Just a little Deuce Coupe with a flathead mill
But she'll walk a Thunderbird like it's standin' still

  5. Great Song choice this week. I love the Beach Boys and this song was always one of my favorites. Your photos are awesome too. Those cars are beautiful. I like going to the cars shows and seeing the older cars that are entered. People can sure put a lot of time and money into them.
    Happy Thursday!

  6. Oh boy a song that brings back such good memories of summer in the 1960's at the NC beaches.

Thank you and I love your pictures.

  7. And, they sure don't make them like that anymore, do they!
Something to be said for the classics isn't there.
    Nice prose :)

  8. I always enjoy seeing theses well cared for old cars and, of course, the Beach Boys take me back, way back.

  12. Classics command respect. It has that special fascination. It costs a bomb to own one both in time and money. But good thing it appreciates! Great pics Kay and great song from the Boys!

  13. I love this song almost as much as I do the classic cars. A great pairing of the lyrics and photos Kay.

  14. The T-Bird makes me think of the movie American Graffiti. I used to cruise 10th Street in Modesto as a teenager before it was filmed there. - Margu
