'Twas the end of November
But along the west coast
No snowflakes would flurry,
Green shadows we'd boast!
I stayed at a friend's house, with a shadowy deck, before carrying on down the coast by train to visit a friend on the Oregon coast.
I admired the flowers still hiding in shadowy, sheltered spots under the trees.
Evergreens and ivy alike produced their own kinds of shadows to lure my camera.

Such a beautiful, shadowy garden! And love the character of that white verandah!
ReplyDeleteIt was nice to see these green and "sunny" pics. I love your friend's outdoor deck. Looks like a wonderful place to spend time on a summer's day.

ReplyDeleteCome find out the origin of my shadow last week.
Great Shadow Shots. The bright greens of the plants and trees in your Sunny photos bring warmth to this cold, cold day. Here it is 24 degrees with snow and wind.
ReplyDeleteIt sure was green back then, hunh? Winter produces its own beauty though. I know I'm saying that as I stand here in shorts, but I remember.
ReplyDeleteIt's lovely to see the little flowers still blooming adding a splash of colour xxx
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely sequence of green shots -great, greetings from the riviera......
ReplyDeleteThis is a colorful post. Your Shadow Shots are always so full of life. Happy SSS.
ReplyDeleteI would like to bury myself in that ivy and then startle the next visitor to your garden--maybe you! :)

When you see the shadows dance,
Be it Mexico or France,

Dancing till the day is done!
