Mellow Yellow Monday: Las Vegas yellows

One year, Dick's company trip took us to Las Vegas. There were plenty of things to photograph there, and an amazing number of them were yellow, some much brighter than others.

  5. When we were in Vegas the Eiffel tower didn't exist yet, we have been there in the 90th the last time. The first time was in 1971 !

  8. Good to see you managed a bird photo Kay, even in Las Vegas. What is it by the way?

  9. Such wonderful street colour and interesting features too! Strange to see the E Tower "replica"? alongside skyscrapers and those birds seem to be made of some fascinating materials! They're huge!

  13. That's one thing I do miss about work. I would go to a technology conference once a year in Las Vegas. I just love that town! So much life and action all day and night. - Margy

  14. Do you reckon Las Vegas is just a bit OTT? (Over the top)

  15. @ Friko — Over the top is right. I first saw Las Vegas in the very early 70s, and again in the late 70s. It hadn't changed a whole lot, but now it is full of opulence for no apparent reason. I don't understand it myself.

  18. Gracious! I haven't been to Vegas in 38 years. I guess it sure has changed! We really need to get out there just to see what it looks like now. Your photos are making me curious.
