The motor bikes didn't surprise me, but the quads did. Are they able to drive them on city streets? We can get a ticket for just crossing the street getting from forest road to forest road. - Margy
ReplyDeleteThe day is beautiful, sunny and warm (which no doubt contrasts sharply with their winters). The northerly sun leaves shadows from every thing and being in town.
ReplyDeleteThe architecture is so different to my eyes as well! Ah, the excitement of travel is always amazing, travel as much as possible - there is much yet to see...
One may not be able to read the language, but the Pepsi logo is always recognizable!

@ Friko — They're not exactly carts, Friko, they're small off-road all-terrain-vehicles known as "quads" because they have four wheels. I assume they're for rent at the place with the Pepsi sign.
ReplyDelete@ Margy — I am guessing they're allowed to drive these little things on roads but I don't know for sure. I didn't see any on the roads, I know that. There are a couple of parks nearby, so maybe they're being rented out to people who want to zip around the park trails.
It's amazing how many places that there are to see in this world. I suppose that one could spend a lifetime trying to see it all and not be able to do so. I live vicariously through your travels!
