Pet Pride: almost too pooped to pant

"Daddy, please, I'm too tired to walk just now.
Look, my tongue is melting all over the path."

Lindy says:
"Hi, Bozo, you look slim and athletic. I bet you like to walk fast. I don't. The weather is still hot here, but should cool off soon."

  1. She reminds me of my oldes cat, Sylvie. Only moves from the sofa if there is sun in the courtyard.

  3. She is so beautiful, she reminds me of a hiking companion I once had, Irish setter-golden retriever mix. Sometimes she would be dragging towards the end of a hike, until she saw a squirrel.

  10. @ Seasons — Thanks. Yes, I'm so glad her curls are coming back, and not a moment too soon, because the weather will be getting cold here soon. Still very hot today, but it won't be long now...

  11. Poor Lindy! The hot weather can be very trying to our dogs though that's rarely a problem in UK. Lindy will be glad when it's cooler and then not so pleased when it's very cold! Perhaps you should move to a temperate climate, Kay;-)

  12. Look at those eyes, they are so expressive. Our weather turned from summer to fall overnight. It is still a bit warm, but so blustery and wet. And our maples don't know it's time to turn yet. Maybe when we get back in 10 days. - Margy

  13. Oh poor sweet Lindy. Wearing a fur coat in hot weather must be very uncomfortable. Lindy has the same expression as my cats do on a warm day.

The little Russian dog is so cute. He seems to have a destination in mind.
