I really like the idea of a bridge between old and new places in the town, Kay! The photo of one bridge appears to have a gap. From a distance, it does look like a fairly easy jump, however. :)

@ Penelope — Oops, that's not the bridge. We were standing on the bridge when the picture was taken. That is a lock, which opens to let boats in and out.
