That flamingo is beautiful! I remember those flamingoes in that part of France. I love Carcassone, what a great place to explore and get transported into a different time. And Perpignan is wonderful as well.
ReplyDeleteoh, LOVE the flamingo!!!
ReplyDeleteWow ! great shots ! Especially the last one, what a reflection !
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos! The third one is a masterpiece, something I long to take once : a bird in flight over water!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit. I was also thinking of Jane Austen when we were in Bath.
Super shots, Kay. I love the flamingo one! Great capture - almost like he is dancing.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend.
Gorgeous captures and such beautiful reflections!! I particularly love the last one! Superb! Enjoy a beautiful weekend!

ReplyDeleteBlimey, you do get around!
ReplyDeleteTalk about unfit? How do you work that out?
oh the photo of the flamingo is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI didn't know that flamingos could be seen in France! All beautiful shots, but the flamingo is best, I think.
ReplyDeleteCarcassonne has been on my "must visit" list since the 70's. For some reason I never went there, yet :-) Great photos, and I really love the flamingo shot!
ReplyDeletebird in flight is magnificent!!
ReplyDeleteThe flamingo is beautiful! And love the pics of France.
ReplyDeletethese are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteEach of the pictures is special. My favorite is the first. You captured the scene is such a way as to give a sense of depth on various levels, progressing on toward the horizon. Thank you, for sharing!
ReplyDeleteGreat reflections, especially the flamingo!
ReplyDeleteThese photos are an inspiration, both to travel more and to take more pictures! Lovely.
ReplyDeleteKay you've captured the joy that is train travel. I love the passing scenes and the way you catch a fleeting glimpse, a little snapshots of life. And what a variety one sees from a train window. I love the first photo - there is always something enchanting about streams - the gentle foilage wafting like a secret garden, the power of the stream and the glitter on sun on the water. And then in an instant it's gone again.
ReplyDeleteThat flamingo is fabulous as well. I thought it was a crane until I read the caption. How exciting - with the reflection, you got two birds for the price of one.
That must have been quite an incredible travel... Those pictures are lovely ! I specially enjoy the last one : the reflection of the bird is perfect !
ReplyDeleteKay, thank you for the beautiful train trip!
ReplyDeleteWow! what a beautiful reflection of the flamingo, caught at the right time!
ReplyDeleteWow! Gorgeous photos!
ReplyDeleteLindy is beautiful and looks adorable!
The last with the bird is a great catch!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad I have a bit of time before I conk out in a few minutes to see what you're up to. It's been an exhausting few days trying to work on Art's family history. I'm seeing that light at the end of the tunnel though.
