| My grandniece was very young when she learned her cat, Taz, showed his love by butting her with his head. When she started crawling, one of the first things she did was crawl up to Taz and butt him with her head. He immediately understood that she loved him, just as he loved her. |
These pictures were taken in 2008, and Taz is a very old cat now. He and my grandniece still love each other, and of course she knows to pet him gently, instead of butting him with her head.

"Hi, Bozo," says Lindy, "I haven't met Taz, but I've heard stories about him! He's a great cat."

What a sweet story, Kay. Children can learn to be gentle with their older pets.

Hi Kay, thats one big cat you have there. If it was a bit strip all over it might resemble a tiger. Kids and animals just get on so well don't they?

Buona serata.

Sweet moments shared between the two.
ReplyDeleteMy cats are my alarm clock. They lick and kiss me in the mornings.
What wonderful photos of a shared moment. My housecat in just the last couple of months has decided she likes head butts.
ReplyDeleteThis is delightful. What an observant little girl she was:-)
