Railings and rocks reflected in Chinese pond

There was so much to see, so much to capture with our cameras when visiting China in '08, I can't even remember if I took this photo or if Dick did. It was one of us, and we both enjoy sharing it here.

  5. What a great reflection, and a lovely spot.

Love your Skywatch photo too, gorgeous.

Thanks for your comment and support of the people in Christchurch who have been effected by the earthquake.
Thankfully it is not in the area where I live, but living in such a small country as New Zealand we all know of someone who has family in Christchurch. It is going to be many years before the city is back to normal.

  6. I am ashame to say the nearest I have been to China is the Chinese gardens in Singapore. Friends tease me that I have lived in Canada and not been to the home of my great grandparents.

  9. Art is looking into going to China next year. Things are so expensive though. However, I don't doubt that he'll find a way.

  16. Ah, such a nice familiar scene for me. The pond, the koi, the lotus, the bridge. It's one of those traditional Chinese garden scenes I find rather elegant and relaxing, don't you, Kay? Good reflection shot, whichever of you two globetrotters took it. :-)

  17. Oh, gorgeous, Kay...can feel how calming it must have been to stand quietly on that little bridge and watch the koi!

China is still on my bucket list...:)
