| We had an excellent guide named Arnold when we visited China. Arnold, center, talks to the group, most of whom are in the shadow of the building at left. My husband Dick, with his shady hat, stood in the sun at right, to hear Arnold talk about the history of this section of the ancient emperors' fabulous Forbidden City. |

You sure do get around and to nice sunny places with shadows.
ReplyDeleteHint, if you want sun do not come to California's central valley mid December to mid February. Low clouds and fog, day in and day out.
We had one sunny day last week and I got a few decent shots.
They have some funny names for birds in English: tits, boobies! I start to wonder about the people (men) who named them!!

ReplyDeleteYour travels are varied - and amazing! Paradise exists all over the globe, and you have found several of them already! I have never seen a Nazca Booby - what a shape and what feet! All these views look much different than winter on the prarie...

ReplyDeleteI love San Diego. We used to go there quite frequently when we lived in Southern California. We would fly our plane to the main airport, walk up the street and catch the trolly, or just stroll along the sea walk to our hotel. I miss those trips. - Margy
