Camera Critters cast shadows for Shadow Shot Sunday

                                                                           Photos by Richard Schear

Thanks to Misty Dawn for Camera Critters
and thanks also to Tracy of Hey Harriet! for Shadow Shot Sunday.
During a walk in the summer, Dick found some shadows: a young rabbit; our dog Lindy near some thistle shadows, and a young robin who cast a very pale shadow as he stood in the grass.

  2. Lovely photos! Would Lindy show any inclination to chase rabbits or is she simply not interested? I must say, she doesn't look as though she's straining to get away :-)

  9. Lovely photos - I'm surprised Lindy didn't take off after that rabbit. I sure she would have gotten the race of her life!

  10. Lindy is a beautiful dog in person and in shadow, too. The prairie summer is full of flora, and neat animals such as the rabbit and bird. Alas, the entire land has turned to tundra as it is covered in snow. The memory of the warmth is captured nicely here!

ps-Speaking of critters, I'm watching the Chronicles of Narnia with all sorts of talking critters. Love this movie!

  18. Though I'm not a part of this meme and am not handy with a camera, I enjoy your "shadow" pictures. Makes me want to pick up a camera and see what I can do. Hah. Another hobby I don't have time for.
