I was quite young in 1959, and I certainly didn't see any Broadway musicals in those days, but I remember this song from the Broadway show Take Me Along.

ReplyDeleteLovely shots of Miss Lindy! She looks to be a gentle mild mannered doggy. I bet she does say "Take Me Along" often. I know our little dog is ready to go every time you put your shoes on.
ReplyDeleteI was not familiar with this song. When I Googled it, I found a 1969 United Airlines Commercial promoting businessmen traveling to take along their wives for a discounted fare. It was cute and the comments were a hoot!
