Camera Critters: a cute creepy crawly

Not my usual kind of camera critter, indeed. In fact, I never pet anything with more than four legs, but there were three of these guys on the birdbath when I visited Pender Island, BC, this month, and they made me laugh.

    So cute and fuzzy - remember as kids how we loved them? These ones must be young, they havent earned their black stripes yet.

    he'll be a beautiful winged creature some day soon! Fuzzy, yes, but I still don't want to touch him!
