SkyWatch Friday: over the prairie

© Richard Schear photo
Nothing flashy for this week, just an evening sky across the prairie. We haven't had snow for a while, but we have flurries in the forecast for Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Meanwhile, the temperature hovers around freezing, but doesn't stop Dick and Lindy's regular walk over by the coulee. Today on the way home, Lindy met a chihuahua. She was not impressed.

  1. Lindy needs to watch out for those critters, chihuahuas can be tough, mean little guys.

  3. I really like the muted colors and textures in this photo. It seems we're on the same page this week posting horizons.

  5. Beautiful prairie -- it doesn't need much to be spectacular.

    I wouldn't be impressed if I met a chihuaha either ;>)

  6. Lovely light in that long cloud, Kay. I understand snow is on it's way - perhaps you will get some in Alberta.

P.S. I have not read the book (Out of Africa) but I loved the movie.
