Nothing flashy for this week, just an evening sky across the prairie. We haven't had snow for a while, but we have flurries in the forecast for Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Meanwhile, the temperature hovers around freezing, but doesn't stop Dick and Lindy's regular walk over by the coulee. Today on the way home, Lindy met a chihuahua. She was not impressed.

Lindy needs to watch out for those critters, chihuahuas can be tough, mean little guys.
ReplyDeleteNice to see the sun!! We're still in snow. Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.

I really like the muted colors and textures in this photo. It seems we're on the same page this week posting horizons.
ReplyDeleteThe layers in the sky is awesome!

Beautiful prairie -- it doesn't need much to be spectacular.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't be impressed if I met a chihuaha either ;>)
What a beautiful peaceful scene.
ReplyDeleteLovely light in that long cloud, Kay. I understand snow is on it's way - perhaps you will get some in Alberta.
ReplyDeleteThe layers of colors are a beauty!
ReplyDeleteP.S. I have not read the book (Out of Africa) but I loved the movie.
Those clouds look a bit ominous, great shot, love the light.
ReplyDeleteHow strange that we were both inspired by the evening skies on different sides of the world! Lovely picture xxx
ReplyDeleteWow! Big Sky country!
ReplyDeleteNo need for "flashy" when you have soft beauty to offer. Nice calming photo. =)
ReplyDeleteHave a nice weekend!
I think that's beautiful, Kay, a great, huge sky to make your soul expand.
