Love that tortoise!
ReplyDeleteOh, what an impressive looking creature. Hats off to you, Kay, for thinking of this very large “tortoise” for ABC Wednesday! You posted about a tortoise while I posted about a turtle. Happily, both begin with the letter “t”. :)

What a wonderful experience to see such fine creatures - Jane uk
ReplyDeleteThat first picture is a prize-winner!
ReplyDeleteAmazing! Terrific turtle takes! And a timely Tilley, too. :)
ReplyDeleteThat giant tortoise jogged my memory banks of Honolulu Zoo and visiting it as a child. The tortoise is the one that I most vividly remember.
ReplyDeleteThat looks quite a size, what a magical experience. Wonder how long it has been trundling around the Galapagos. I've only ever seen them in the wild in Greece, at first it was quite surreal as I wasn't expecting it, fascinating creatures.
ReplyDeleteA terrific tortoise!
ReplyDeleteAaah.. to see those maginficent creatures exactly where they are supposed to be. How wonderful.

Wow, they ARE huge!!!!! How cool to be that close to one......
ReplyDeleteWOW they really are big! Great post.
ReplyDeleteI had a tortoise pet as a kid, but nothing like that. Mine was named Pansy because every time she passed the bed of pansies she couldn't resist a bite. - Margy
ReplyDeleteI toyed with the idea of using 'turtle' for my letter T, but I haven't seen any on this trip to Hawaii.
ReplyDeleteThat is a huge tortoise! Wow!
ReplyDeleteThat's no Tiny Tortoise! Terrific shots, Kay and Dick!
ReplyDeleteTerrific ! How much would I love to see such a big tortoise !! I only know the little once ! You could almost ride on it, maybe a little slow, but still !
ReplyDeleteFabulous photos. They are amazing creatures.
ReplyDeleteCheers from Cottage Country!
