Here he comes again, that man with the yellow dog and the big black camera! I'd better tell everyone else!
Do you hear him? I'll point my ears forward, you point yours backward, then we'll be able to hear him and his dog breathing, wherever they are.
Aha, here they come, and the camera is pointed right at me.
Now it's pointed at all of us. What will we do?

ReplyDeleteWonderful; shots with fascinating story line.
ReplyDeleteFabulous photos of the deer. I love the first one with that little white tail. Great commentary Kay.
ReplyDeleteOh, I love this post! Those deer are so beautiful - I always love to see them on my walks. Here, they don't seem to be afraid at all. Great shots!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the laugh. Such lovely shots! Looks pretty mild over there.
ReplyDeleteI love the caption about their ears pointed forwards and backwards to hear the dog breathing. How well you understand animals.
ReplyDeleteHi Kay ! That is the third lovely story about deer . You have so much wildlife around . It must be very interesting at this time of the year! Arkansas Patti had a funny story about a young buck whose hormons were playing up. And she revered to another blogger who tried to rope a deer, but had no idea that a deer was so much stronger than a cow or a horse. Your photos are great to go with these stories!
ReplyDeleteThat photography reminds me of wildlife books I have at home from the fifties and sixties. Thanks for sharing! Hugs, Jo
ReplyDeleteI love this part of our world ! what cute pictures !

ReplyDeleteGreat shots and the captions are lively!
ReplyDeleteSo lovely. Is it near your house or does your hubby drive to find these wonderful spots he photographs so well?
ReplyDeleteSweet, sweet, sweet! My favorite is the one with five deer looking straight at Dick from behind the golden grassy hill.
ReplyDeleteSweet shots - they always run when they see me!
ReplyDeleteNow exciting it must have been to be out there and see this with your own eyes.
