Shadows of a lovable lady

Sit? Sure, Dad, I'll sit, no problem.

Stay? Right. I can stay. You don't even have to hold my leash.

In fact, while you mess around with the camera, I think I'll have a nap.

  2. Hi Kay, Thanks so much for visiting so I can visit/follow you. Lindy is so sweet and she looks like she hates the summer heat as much as I do! Enjoy the weekend.

  3. Aww, such a sweet baby. Funny that I said that. I don't even like dogs. (How did I get four of them, I ask myself).

  4. I love Goldens! So agreeable, so nice and with so much soft fur! Like dogs everywhere, their smiling so much makes them tired. A tired dog has got to do what it must do. We'll see you after your nap!

  5. And her spot, in addition to being perfect for shadows, is a bed of wild morning glory! Wonderful shots, but she does look hot!

  6. @Dimple —
Yes, and the wild morning glory looks great in the wild, but I have a real fight with it in my yard, where it tries to choke out everything else.
My husband carries a small backpack of Lindy supplies when they go walking. It includes a special water bottle for dogs, with a built-in dish. I've no idea who might have invented it, but it works, and she sure knows who it belongs to. Dick keeps it in the fridge for her, too, between walks.

  10. Lindy must have been a wee bit hot and tired. But still a lovely dog and shadow maker.

  11. She is so gorgeous, I just want to give her a big hug.

I do miss not having a dog around the house.

  12. Even Lindy's shadow looks happy! She is so beautiful.

Kay, I was going to make a comment about the morning glories and then I saw your comment above. We don't have them here but we did at our last house. They are almost impossible to deal with, good luck.

  20. I love her! She has that wise look that older dogs always acquire... and her fur is so fluffy, it makes me want to give her a kiss on the top of her head. You'll have to give her one for me :)

  22. she has one of the happiest doggie faces ever!!! that second photo of her is so adorable - she's sitting there patiently waiting. it looks a bit dry there - it's dry here too. we could use a bit of rain, but I don't mind not having to mow the grass! I also really like your reflection photos previously posted, especially the tulips and bike shot. I hope you're having a fun weekend Kay.
