Where the deep blue pearly waters...

(No, not Hawaii, this is from our visit to Costa Rica)

Somewhere beneath sky’s blue heaven
There's a place I must go
See the sun set in the evening
With the only love I know

We watch the sun set in the evening
See the moon yellow and pale
Watch the gauchos ride their pintos
Out across the pampas trail
(Alberta, Canada)
(Costa Rica)

Where the deep blue pearly waters
Wash upon white silver sands
We watched the sun set in the evening
In a far and distant land

"White Silver Sands" was a big hit for Don Rondo in 1957.
I remember the song, but I don't remember Don Rondo. LOL -- K

  7. Good Morning Kay....what beautiful pictures on this snowy morning. This song is new to be but I love it.
Kind of Western Swing. Have you ever head of the Sons of San Joaquin? They have a website. We are members of the local Society to Preserve B Western Movies. About 2 years ago the Sons were on the East Coast what a treat to see and hear them.
