Strange sailing for February

Hi blogging friends, fans, followers, etc., just a quick note to say the Carnival Destiny had calm seas from Miami, Florida, to the south coast of Spain. We're docked at Malaga, an hour and a half (by car) east of Gibraltar. No, we didn't see the Rock, because we passed it at 3am.
Barcelona next, then Florence (Livorno), Rome (Civitavecchia), and finally Venice.
We're both well and having a good holiday so far. I'm getting lots of rest and Dick is getting lots of exercise, just what the doctors ordered.
New news soon, probably from Venice next week.
Cheers!
K

Glad to hear you're doing well. My daughter told me about a cruise ship that was adrift for days (I'm glad you're not on it!)

I have been thinking about you, Kay. Hope you are having a Happy Valentine’s Day! Glad the seas were calm on your journey. There is a cruise ship right now in the Gulf of Mexico that had mechanical problems and they are crawling to shore with thousands of people on board who have very little in the way of utilities. I am so looking forward to your Venice news. Don’t forget to say hello from your BC friends!!

Sounds good ! Looks as if you have a wonderful cruise ! We also stopped in Rome when we did our cruise. Actually we started from there and it ended there.

I'm glad to know everything is going well for you too. I'd love to go on a cruise someday again.
